Strange Earth News

Strange Earth stories as well as those dealing with odd things in the Universe will appear here. I was going to make this fourth section a miscellaneous section, but opted to look at the odd stories about the planet and Universe it resides in instead. This decision was to help avoid fringe stories that are just odd and not really paranormal as even this catagory stretches the definition. There will be many stories to come as 2012 nears and as our planet continues to change and evolve. I don't expect a whole lot of stories to be here and I may eventually create this as a miscellanous page if there are infrequent updates.

Ice Ball Hits Sleeping Woman

A woman was hit on the head by a ball of ice that broke through her roof and landed on her head as she lay in bed, luckily the injuries were minor. They claim it's just a chunk of ice from an airplane or rocket. Rocket? Yep. Lots of rockets blast off around York, Pennsylvania. It's comforting to know that it's acceptable for ice to fall off of airplanes.

11 Cows Die Mysteriously

Seven cows and four bulls were found on a Knoxville, Tennessee area farm and were initially thought to be shot. Once the farmer got closer he realized that they were not show and could not find anything visibly wrong with them. Four other cows on his property remained alive. Those involved with the investigation have commented that they have never seen anything like this. There is no trauma or wounds and no apparent sign of disease. Tests are currently being conducted by the University of Tennessee, we hope to have the results soon.
